July Hike - La Orilla Trails in Rancho Santa Fe

AIAP's July Hike

Notice: Change of trail due to expected high Temperature 

The AIAP hike for July is being altered to La Orilla Trails in Rancho Santa Fe due to expected high Temperatures at Elfin Forest on Sunday July 16. 

16398 El Camino Real, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92091

La Orilla trail is in San Elijo Lagoon Ecological park in Encinitas. Round trip is approximately 6 miles and it is a relatively flat and easy trail.  For the more capable hikers, we can hike an additional 0.25 mile the Annie’s Canyon on our way.  

When: Sunday July 16, 2023

Time: 7:15 AM (we meet at 7:15 am and hit the trails at 7:30am sharp)

Parking is very limited (8-10cars) on El Camino Real road, so carpool is a must and get there early.
