Monthly Hike: Mount Woodson - Lake Poway

AIAP's October Hike will be at Mount Woodson - Lake Poway. 

This is a moderate to hard hike with trail passing through very steep and narrow in some places. The trail is well marked and maintained most of the way. The views from the peak are amazing and worth the effort. This hike is about 6.5 miles round trip and take about 3.5 to four hours. Please bring plenty of water, your snack and wear comfortable hiking shoes. Meeting Time: 7:15 am (We meet at 7:15 am and start the hike at 7:30 am)

Place to Meet: Lake Poway Parking Lot

GPS Address: 14644 Lake Poway Road  Poway, CA 92064 Map

Direction:  Take I-15 to Rancho Bernardo Rd exit. Take Rancho Bernardo Rd east for about 3 miles. Go left on Lake Poway Rd (you will see sign for Lake Poway).

Please note that non-Poway residents must pay a $10 parking fee to park at Lake Poway. So try to carpool or use outside parking.
