  AIAP’s February 2025 Hike

  Volcan Mountain Trail

  Sunday February 16, 2025

  Volcan Mountain Trail is a 5.3-mile, lightly trafficked out-and-back trail near Julian, California, that features beautiful wildflowers and is rated as moderate. Volcan Mountain stands at 5,300 feet, offering great views of the Salton Sea and Anza-Borrego Desert to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west.

  

  Place to Meet: In front of Macy’s department store North County Westfield Mall, Escondido, CA 92025

  
  

  Time: We will meet at 8:00 AM and carpool at 8:30 AM sharp.

  Volcan Mountain Trail is approximately a one-hour drive from North County Mall. We will carpool from our meeting location. Be advised that there may be snow on the trail. Dress appropriately for the weather - wear boots, wool hats, and high-insulation jackets.

  AIAP NOWRUZ CELEBRATION

  Join us for a lively celebration of Nowruz, the Persian New Year!

  Prepare for a night filled with joy, laughter, and cultural festivities, with DJ, dancing and buffet dinner. Immerse yourself in Iran's vibrant traditions as we welcome spring's arrival. A buffet dinner will be served. Mark your calendars and join us for a memorable celebration!

  Become a member or renew your membership to be able to purchase tickets at the members' rate. Members cannot register for other members unless they share a family (2 person) membership. Children under 12 receive a reduced price and must be registered separately. February 8, 2025, is the last day for early bird registration; ticket prices increase afterward.
