Mount Woodson @ Lake Poway

The AIAP November Hike will be at Mount Woodson - Lake Poway. This is a moderate day hike via Lake Poway. The trail is very steep and narrow in some places. It is well marked and maintained most of the way until the last 1/2 hour to the top. The views from the peak are well worth the effort. This hike is about 6.5 miles round trip and take about 3.5 hours. Please bring water and hiking boots. Direction: Take I-15 north to the Ranco Bernardo Rd exit. Take Ranco Bernardo Rd east for about 3 miles. Go left on Lake Poway Rd (you will see sign for Lake Poway)
