  • 2/7/2011 Sequence has just been retained as the exclusive agent for the San Francisco County Transportation Authority in their effort to recruit and bring onboard a Principal Engineer for Capital Projects.

Responsibilities include managing the timely and cost effective program management and delivery of the design, process management, construction, and completion of Authority projects, including supervision of project schedules, budgets and quality control objectives. Would also provide expertise to aid technical and programming decisions, and to ensure projects are delivered on time, in budget.

The position requires a degree in Transportation Planning, Civil Transportation Engineering or related field, and California professional engineering (PE) license. Must have seven years of progressively responsible experience in transportation project and program management with at least two years in a management role.

The ideal individual would have experience and exposure to California transportation regulatory circles and practices, though any geographically-based individual in the United States with applicable background and experience would be considered for the position. Ideally here would be an individual with exposure to a broad range of project management undertakings and exposure to varied professional roles.

The Authority offers an exceptional compensation package, starting with a salary range of $106K+ - $156K+ (dependent on experience), plus excellent benefits.

  • 10/08/2010 -Manufacturing Engineer V (2 positions)
    Two junior Engineer positions that provide hands-on engineering support to senior level engineers and managers. One Engineer will support MLM products and the other will support Solar Al products.
    Monitor and review manufacturing process variables in order to proactively correct and continually improve product quality and plant efficiencies.  Provide engineering analyses and operational improvement recommendations.  Work with R&D and assist with the scale up of new products and the transition into volume manufacturing. Work with material suppliers to improve process and product performance. Work with Quality Control to improve gauge capability of key product/process measures.  Design, install and commission new production units, monitoring modifications and upgrades, and troubleshooting existing processes. Manage the cost and time constraints of projects.

    Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or Material Science.  Excellent communication and organizations skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a non-routine basis, or 25 pounds on a routine basis. Standing or walking up to 6 hours per day.

    DESCRIPTION:
    Under the general supervision of the Digital Arts Director, coordinate the management, development, implementation and administration of in-person and web-based open enrollment Digital Arts (DA) courses and year-long Digital Arts Center (DAC) programs. Plan, schedule, and evaluate DA and DAC programs, making recommendations for program improvements and work with the Director to implement appropriate changes. Advise students and serve as instructor liaison. In conjunction with the Digital Arts Director and Marketing Representative, promote DAC programs to the public through timely catalog entry, assistance with trade shows and fairs, and support of other marketing ventures. Manage program margins through tracking and analysis of enrollments, revenue, and expenses.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    * Ability to gather information, review and analyze data, recommend alternatives, develop creative solutions, and make decisions.
    * Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal communications including effective verbal communication, tact, diplomacy and flexibility.
    * Strong organizational, time management and planning skills with ability to prioritize workload and maintain a high degree of professionalism and meet deadlines.
    * Experience at an advanced level with the following computer software in a Windows environment: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Internet Explorer.
    * Ability to create budgets and track revenue/expenses.
    Preferred:
    * Familiarity with one or more of the digital arts, including graphic design, video and editing, computer-aided design, 3D animation, website design and/or casual gaming.
