The AIAP April hike will be at Elfin Forest
park. The hike is
a 6 mile
moderate hike and take about 3.5 hours. Please bring water &
hiking shoes. For any questions

We will meet the hikers for carpool at Sears parking lot in
North County
Mall.
Date: Sunday, MAR 9, 2008
Time: 7:45 a.m.
Place to meet: Sears parking lot in North County Mall.
Direction to North County Mall: Take I-15 North, exit on Via
Rancho Parkway,
Go straight to the parking lot.
Direction to Elfin Forest park: I-15 North to Escondido, exit
9th Avenue,
turn left at the traffic signal, turn left again at the first
traffic signal
to 9th Ave., go straight, pass one light (Home Depot on the
left), and
continue to the end of 9th Ave., which will turn left to Hale Ave., go to
the second block on the right side which is Harmony Grove, turn
right to
Harmony Grove, continue for a short distance and turn left again
to Harmony
Grove, follow the road for 2-3 miles and Elfin Forest park
entrance is on
the left side.
