Hi. My name is Yahya Mike Faramarzi and I am a senior civil engineer with City of San Diego. I have been with the City for close to 19-years and a member of AIAP since its inception. I have a B.S. degree in civil and environmental engineering from Utah State University and a master degree from SDSU.

I would like to join the AIAP board member to help out with planning of the events, monthly meeting and participate in any other activities that may be necessary to have a fully functional and a professional association. I view AIAP as an opportunity to work closely with other board members and listen to the concerns and input from general members to enhance the association’s activities within the Persians society. I like to join the AIAP board to bring about a sense of community among our fellow Iranian-American citizens in the greater San Diego area and create a network and cooperation for exchanging cultural and business ideas. I would like to also actively increase the number of members for the AIAP. I was a prior AIAP board member and still participate in planning certain yearly events, such as planning summer camp
