I was born in the city of Kermanshah and grew up in Tehran. After moving to the United States, I received my B.S. Degree in Computer Science from Utah State University in 1987. Our family lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, for many years, where I taught courses in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Community College of Southern Nevada. We moved to San Diego 8 years ago, where I have been very delighted to be involved in the Iranian community.

Early on I became an active member of AIAP and have been contributing to special events. I have also volunteered for various activities in the other Iranian organizations. As a volunteer I have contributed in a range of activities, from graphic design work to organizing events, etc. I believe that my involvement in the Iranian community has given me a great base of knowledge to be effective in community events. Above all, I hope to bring my energy and passion for excellence as well as creativity to the AIAP board.
