Mazdak Hadaegh

Mazdak Hadaegh was born in Iran and immigrated to the U.S. in 1988. He graduated from UCSD with a degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1996, he joined Doctor Design Inc. as a design engineer and helped develop a variety of products including set-top box head-end equipment, a wearable PC, PDA development platform, and many more. In 1999, he joined Motorola and as a senior engineer helped develop mobile handsets using CDMA technology. He is currently a project manager at Wind River System's professional consulting organization and leads a variety of projects involving real-time embedded software.

He has been an active member of the community and helped launch Iranian American Democrats of San Diego (IADSD). One of his contributions has been the creation and maintenance of IADSD's web site. He has been an AIAP member for several years. His other interests include volleyball, soccer, and foreign travel.

As AIAP board member, Mazdak would like to promote the participation of the new generation of Iranian American professionals.
